Notifications and the Morning Briefing help you stay on top of what matters without checking Rask all day.

The Morning Briefing

The Morning Briefing is your personalised daily summary. It’s designed to be the first thing you check each day to see what needs your attention.

What’s inside your briefing?

  1. Your Priorities: A clear count of tasks that are Overdue, Due Today, or coming up in the Next 7 Days.
  2. Latest from Rask: A curated list of the newest articles and podcasts from the Rask team.
  3. Popular Stocks: A snapshot of the investments currently trending within the Rask community.

How to access it

  • You’ll receive a notification each morning when your briefing is ready.
  • You can also jump straight to it at app.rask.au/briefing.

Managing Notifications

The Notifications page lists every alert sent to your account, from task assignments to message replies.

Using the notifications list

  • Unread Alerts: New notifications are highlighted with a light blue background and a blue dot.
  • Mark as Read: Click on a notification to view the details and mark it as read. You can also use the Mark all as read button to tidy up your list instantly.
  • Action Links: Most notifications include a direct link (e.g., clicking a “New Message” alert takes you straight to the conversation).

Customising your alerts

You have full control over how Rask contacts you.

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Scroll to Notification Preferences.
  3. Toggle Email or In-App alerts for different categories like billing, messaging, and documents.

Tips for a tidy inbox

  • Daily vs. Instant: Use In-App notifications for everything, but limit email to high-priority items like “Messaging” or “System Alerts”.
  • Check the badge: Look for the red number on the bell icon in the main navigation — it’s the quickest way to see if you’ve missed anything.
