So you’ve found a stock or ETF you like and want to keep a close eye on it? Watchlists allow you to track real-time prices and performance for thousands of investments without having to own them yet.
Creating your Watchlists
You don’t have to put everything in one long list. You can create multiple watchlists to stay organised:
- Go to the Watchlists page.
- Click New Watchlist.
- Give it a name (e.g., “Tech Giants,” “Dividend Picks,” or “Potential Buys”).
Adding investments
The easiest way to add to your watchlist is from the Markets page. When you find a stock you like, look for the Add to Watchlist button. On individual investment pages, open the Watching / Add to watchlist dropdown and use View watchlists to jump straight to your watchlists.
You can also add multiple investments quickly from the Watchlists page:
- Start typing in the search bar (ticker or company name).
- If there are no matches in your current watchlist, Rask automatically searches the wider market in the background.
- Use Add to watchlist next to any suggested investment to add it to your active watchlist.
- Keep searching and adding — your list updates immediately without needing to reload the page.
Tracking Performance
Your watchlist table updates with live market data:
- Price & Change: See the current price and the percentage change for the day.
- YTD & 12M: See how the investment has performed since the start of the year and over the last 12 months.
- Sorting: Click any column header (like “Price” or “Change”) to sort your list and see your biggest movers.
Quick Notes
Want to remember why a stock is on your list?
- Click the Sticky Note icon next to any investment.
- Type your quick thoughts or a “target buy price.”
- These notes are private to you and help you stay disciplined.
