So you want to see your total financial position grow? The Net Wealth Tracker is your high-level scoreboard. It combines everything you own and everything you owe into one powerful number.

Getting Started

The tracker works best when it has fresh data. Follow these steps to get an accurate view:

1. Connect your cash and portfolios

  • Go to Settings and connect your bank feeds and portfolio trackers (like Navexa).
  • Rask will automatically update your cash balances and investment values every day.

2. Add your “Manual” assets

Not everything has a live feed. You should manually update these categories in your Fact Find:

  • Property: Your home or investment property values.
  • Vehicles: The current estimated value of your cars.
  • Superannuation: If your fund isn’t connected via a feed, update the balance manually once a quarter.

3. Record your debts

Ensure your mortgages, credit cards, and personal loans are listed. Rask subtracts these from your assets to calculate your true Net Worth.

Using the Tracker Features

Explain Today

Click the Explain today button at the top of the page. This opens a side panel that shows you exactly which “source” (e.g., a bank feed vs. a manual form entry) is being used for every single number in your total.

Editing History

If you notice a “spike” or “drop” in your chart that doesn’t look right:

  1. Find the category (e.g., “Property”).
  2. Click Edit history.
  3. You can add a backdated value for a specific date. This is great for recording a property valuation from six months ago to make your growth chart more accurate.

Entity Details

If you have complex structures (like a Trust or an SMSF), click Entity details. This breaks your net worth down by Tax Structure so you can see exactly where your wealth is held.

Tips for success

  • Monthly Check-in: Spend 5 minutes on the first of every month updating any manual balances.
  • Ignore the Noise: Don’t worry about small daily fluctuations in your portfolio. Focus on the Net worth over time trend line.
