Cashflow is structured in two layers: Essentials and Advanced.
Essentials (landing view)
These load first so the page stays simple and fast:
- Incoming: what came in this month.
- Total spending: what went out this month.
- Net cashflow: incoming minus spending.
- Monthly trend chart: a quick month-by-month view.
- Top categories and merchants: available in the expandable spending breakdown.
- Transactions table: search, filter, match/reconcile, split, and export.
Advanced (bottom tab)
Use this when you want more control and automation:
- Category rules: create rules with a guided Who / What / Why flow, including optional direction filtering and extra keyword narrowing.
- Budgets: track category targets.
- Recurring detection: identify regular bills and income.
- Insights: alerts for unusual patterns and data hygiene.
Why this structure exists
Most users need fast answers first, not every tool at once. The Advanced tab keeps the landing experience focused while preserving full functionality.
