Rask Cashflow is designed to answer the three questions most people actually care about:

  1. What came in?
  2. What did I spend?
  3. Where did my money go (categories and merchants)?

Access requirement

Cashflow is a protected area. You must have:

  • a verified sign-in email, and
  • MFA enabled

before the dashboard can be opened.

If these checks are incomplete, the app will show a clear security prompt and send you to Security settings to finish setup.

What you see first on the dashboard

The Cashflow dashboard now opens in an essentials-first layout:

  • Headline numbers: Incoming, Total spending, and Net cashflow for this month.
  • Trend chart: Month-by-month cashflow view.
  • Spending breakdown (expandable): Top categories and top merchants.
  • Transactions table: Search, filter, and reconcile with Match (transfers, exclusions, manual category fixes).

Where advanced tools moved

To keep the main screen clean, advanced controls now live under the Advanced tab at the bottom:

  • Category rules
  • Budgets
  • Recurring detection
  • Insights

Quick start flow

  1. Open Cashflow Setup and connect your feed.
  2. Run your first sync.
  3. Review transactions and uncategorised items.
  4. Add a starter category rule using Who / What / Why.
  5. Open Advanced tools when you are ready for deeper control.
