Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of Rask, provided by The Rask Group Pty Ltd (ACN 622 810 995), Corporate Authorised Representative No. 1280930 of Rask Licensing Pty Ltd (AFSL 563 907). By using the platform you agree to these terms.

Acceptance and eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old or have legal authority to bind the organisation you represent.
• If you continue to use Rask after updates to these terms, you accept the updated terms.

About Rask

• Rask Free and Premium provide general advice and education only.
• Rask Ultra may provide personal financial advice when we have collected sufficient information and issue the required advice documents (e.g., SOA/ROA).
• We do not provide credit advice. AI-assisted experiences are supervised, but outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate.

Accounts and access

• Keep your login secure and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
• You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• We may update, suspend, or discontinue features without notice where legally permitted.

Fees and billing

• Rask Free: $0. Rask Premium: $99/month. Rask Ultra: $499/month.
• Fees are charged monthly in advance to your nominated payment method. No cooling-off or money-back period applies.
• We will notify you of pricing changes before they take effect for your next billing cycle.

AI, content, and limitations

• AI-generated content may be incorrect or incomplete. Always verify before acting.
• Do not rely on AI outputs as personal advice unless provided as part of Rask Ultra with accompanying advice documents.
• We may use trusted vendors (including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, XAI) to process prompts and outputs.

Advice scope

• Free and Premium: general financial advice only; we do not consider your objectives, financial situation, or needs.
• Ultra: personal financial advice only when explicitly provided with advice documents and sufficient fact-find information.
• We do not provide legal, tax, or credit advice. Obtain independent advice where appropriate.

User content and documents

• You must have the right to upload and share content you provide.
• Do not upload unlawful, offensive, or harmful material.
• You grant us a licence to store and process your content to operate and improve the service.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to breach security, scrape data, or interfere with the platform.
• Do not misrepresent your identity or impersonate others.
• We may suspend or terminate access for misuse or breach of these terms.

Data handling and privacy

• Our Privacy Policy (/legal/privacy-policy) explains how we collect, use, and store personal information.
• We aim to keep data in Australia where possible, or the USA when required, using reputable vendors such as Cloudflare and GCP.
• Data may be processed by AI vendors (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, XAI) to deliver features; we apply security and minimisation controls.

Availability and changes

• We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
• We may change or retire features to improve the service or meet legal requirements.

Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss.
• Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Termination

• You may stop using the service at any time. Fees already paid are non-refundable unless required by law.
• We may suspend or terminate access for breach, misuse, or legal reasons.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Disputes are subject to the courts of Victoria and applicable federal courts.
